Grandpa Billy

A few days after Christmas 2009, Brandon's grandfather went to the doctor with stomach pains. Turns out he had Liver Cancer. He went to many doctors and finally to MD Anderson in Houston, were he was told in January he only had 6-9 months to live. In October 2010, he became sicker and found out the cancer had spread. We lost Grandpa October 14, 2010. He was a wonderful man who loved god and his family. He had a great life that ended way too soon. He would have been 83 tomorrow. We will always remember all the wonderful times we shared with him in the Caymans and in Huntsville and of course his funny sayings.........Brandon's new favorite term, thanks to Grandpa is Jerk Ass. There is nothing funny then hearing Grandpa call someone a Jerk Ass!!! Below are two pictures from the first time Grandpa and Grandma meet Savannah. Grandpa was a HUGE UT guy so of course we had to get Savannah an outfit to show her support. Grandpa, Grandma, Savannah and Brandon.

Grandpa loved his Great Granddaughter very much and she loved her Gigi!! He was a wonderful man and we will never let Savannah forget that!
